Who Is Braustin?

The name may be new to the manufactured home industry, but we’re not.
Our family has over 10 years’ experience selling and managing teams for big mobile home companies. In January of 2017 we decided it was time to venture out on our own and bring back the personal touch that only a small, family owned and operated business can bring.

We were born and raised in San Antonio. South Texas is and always will be home. That’s why we love helping other families plant roots here.

We’re hard working Texan’s just like you who put in a good, honest day’s work to put food on the table. We thank you for the opportunity to earn your business and hope y’all will decide to join the Braustin Family!

What’s in a name?

We grew up as three brothers and Braustin is the combination of our three middle names. Our youngest brother, Jonathan, worked with us in the mobile home business for almost 4 years. Sadly he passed in 2015. Braustin is as much Jonathan’s legacy as it is ours and we pour our entire selves into the work we do for our clients to honor his memory.

Why Braustin?

Family Owned and Operated
When making one of the most important financial decisions of your life, you need to know the company you trust with your first home purchase is going to walk you through the home buying process every step of the way

Our goal at Braustin is to provide you with all the information you need to make a smart buying decision. We believe that everyone wins when we focus on educating instead of selling so you won’t find any
high-pressure sales tactics here.

If we are fortunate enough to earn your business, then we work hand in hand with your family to customize, build and deliver your home. We know the importance of communication during this process so we stay in frequent contact with you to make sure you are in the loop.

What Does Braustin Sell?

Starter Home Specialists
We started this company to help as many families as we could become homeowners. For this reason, we focus on starter homes and first time home buyers. We sell entry level new manufactured homes from factories like Tru Homes (formerly TruMH) as well as used and repo mobile homes.

We can help you and your family purchase the home only or work with you to put together a land and home package.

We even have homes with owner financing for those families who have been denied for a loan elsewhere.

What makes Braustin unique?

We’re relationship builders.
Unlike some who ask you to fill out a pre-qualification application before talking about homes, we welcome everyone who has questions about home ownership. Although critical, our business approach goes beyond applying federal fair housing policies and laws. Growing up and planting roots in San Antonio, we are huge fans of diversity and continue to do our part to openly encourage it. We enjoy sharing information to include learning from your valuable experiences to create a stronger community.

Can Braustin help with site work?

Absolutely. We can help with as much or as little as you need. Every home purchase is unique so we work with our customers to offer custom packages to make moving in as stress free as possible.

What about Financing?

We offer financing options to cover a wide range of situations.

We work with the top traditional lenders in the industry for purchasing new homes with or without land. We also offer used homes for sale with owner financing for those that may have been denied elsewhere.

Can I find my own delivery company?

It depends.

If you are purchasing a used home from us, we can contract for just the home if you have found your own transport company.
The laws work differently on new homes and as the retailer, we are liable for the delivery and installation of your home. For that reason, we do not let residential customers purchasing new homes from us handle their own transport.

What are the warranties?

Business Use – As is where is

These are units that do not meet the state’s guidelines for habitability, but may make sense for a hunting lease or workshop. You must sign a document verifying that you do not intend to occupy this unit as a home in order to finalize your purchase.

Used Home – 60 days Habitability Warranty

The state defines “habitable” as:

  • There is no defect or deterioration in or damage to the home that creates a dangerous situation;
  • The plumbing, heating and electrical systems are in safe working order;
  • The walls, floor, and roof are:
  • Free from a substantial opening that was not designed
  • Structurally sound;
  • All exterior doors and windows are in place. Any window that is designated an egress are in working order.

New Homes – 1 Year

The factories we work with offer a onetime cosmetic repair and then a 1 year warranty on the systems and structure of the home.

We handle our service in house and then bill back the factory for the work done. That means you get a direct line of contact to your home warranty team – US . No need to 1 (800) numbers with machines, we will freely give you our cell phone for service issues.
